🍄 What if the secret to healing has been growing beneath our feet this entire time?
In this episode of the Crystal Water Experience Podcast, Dr. Jo Whitaker sits down with mushroom expert, author, and superfood alchemist Juliette Bryant to uncover the extraordinary world of medicinal mushrooms — and why they might just be the most powerful natural medicine hiding in plain sight.
From the incredible mycelium network that mirrors the fascia in our own bodies, to turkey tail mushrooms used alongside cancer treatments in Japan and China for over 20 years, to the lion’s mane tincture that helped Juliette’s son overcome crippling anxiety and OCD — this conversation is packed with eye-opening revelations you won’t hear in mainstream media.
In this episode, you’ll discover:
🍄 How the mycelium network connects all living things — and how it mirrors the fascia in your body
🍄 Why turkey tail mushrooms were banned as a “novel food” in the UK (but are still legal for your pets!)
🍄 How to forage, identify, and make your own dual-extract mushroom tinctures at home
🍄 The remarkable story of how mushroom tinctures transformed Juliette’s son from non-verbal burnout to thriving on stage as Julius Caesar
🍄 Why grounding into the Earth’s mycelium network is the ultimate spiritual protection
🍄 How to start foraging safely — even if you’ve never picked a mushroom before
🍄 The connection between mushrooms, cognitive function, and switching on your brain’s full potential
Whether you’re a seasoned forager, someone seeking natural alternatives for your family’s health, or simply curious about the hidden intelligence of nature — this episode will change the way you see the world beneath your feet.

And more and more people are finding out brilliant stuff about how our world works, how medicine is our downfall because nature is our healer. And we've got an amazing conversation today on that very topic. And I know there's a lot to take in, and I bring different people on and subject matter experts.
But I haven't done one on mushrooms before, and I was really taken when Juliette was speaking about how passionate she was about the Earth and about all the frequencies and natural elements of the Earth are one with us, and that's how we heal. So it very much resonated with Kelly and I. I said, "I've gotta get you on," because your knowledge was amazing and I wondered if you would come on and talk to us about mushrooms, Juliette.
Thank you. It's [:It's there's no alcohol is the right... it's, like- No ... there's not people, like, getting off their heads and being, But there's a lot of very skilled and advanced people in all of their areas, and I was listening to you and it was, it... We were talking about reishi mushrooms, and you were like, or however you say.
There's different ways of saying it, isn't it? So hopefully you'll be able to correct us. So I'd love for you to share with people today your knowledge on this fantastic topic, and also where they can find out more about you. So make sure you bring that in because, yeah, looking forward to hearing more.
for me, mushrooms I love the [:And in that remembrance, we come back into our power because we've been so disconnected from the source of everything, the source of our beings. And now is that time, I think, when it's really time to reclaim that, and I think mushrooms have a huge part in that story. So I wrote a book a year and a half ago called Seven Magical Mushrooms which is an exploration of the history, the folklore, the science, the anecdotal evidence into seven of my favorite mushrooms.
And it was amazing in that research and writing that book, 'cause I've been working for mushrooms for 20-plus years, but it's amazing when you really see the body of evidence that has been around for thousands of years for these mushrooms and the life-changing properties that they really have that so many people aren't aware of.
what's beautiful is they're [:It's the rooting structure of the mushrooms that covers the entire planet and that interacts with all living things. And what's so amazing is they found that you've got a tree over here, and this tree is lacking in nutrients, so it sends out a signal through the mycelium network to the other trees in the area.
here. And this really got me [:Because if you look at the fascia, so the fascia is this interconnective tissue that covers our whole body that is a kind of white filament that's job is to send signals through the body, transmit chemicals. Sound familiar? The same function as the mycelium network. Exactly the same. And they look the same.
So to me, the, our fascia is part of that mycelium. It's just another word to describe the mycelium within our bodies That's a beautiful explanation. And all the time I was visualizing w- what you were saying when these n- m- mesh networks. It's incredible that they reflect us. Yeah. And the more that we know about what's happening on the outside, 'cause sometimes it's very hard to mea- see what's happening inside, right?
ting all of these pointless, [:They don't have any purpose. They are not from this kind of country, so they haven't got the mycelium network, and they're literally planting them, and they're just being puny, disconnected. And I think to myself, surely a lot of this evidence is out now about how the kind of tree networks system works.
Are they deliberately doing this to stop all the trees getting connected, or are they stupid? Because they can't be ignorant, can they? I think that this information is getting out on a level, but I don't think it has really integrated in. It's I've got knowledge, and I talk to people about it, and I'm like, "How do you not know that?"
It's stuff that I think is out there and is common knowledge. Yeah. But it isn't. It's common knowledge within a, a group of people who are aware and awakening within our beings. But the general public don't know a lot of this stuff. There was a brilliant book on that concept called Finding the Mother Tree.
is was all about a logger in [:She was monitoring them through the mycelium network and actually supporting them to grow from these little bare, twig trees into fully sustained trees. So when you chop down that mother tree- Those other trees that you're planting to replace it don't have that same network to support them, which is, in a way it's a bit like a mother having a baby and that mother's feeding the baby breast milk so that baby can grow really strong.
, pointless trees, this is a [:It's like we need to plant the food forest. I've been doing a lot of work in schools and we plant fruit trees. We plant, medicinal trees that actually are gonna benefit us and give us food. If you plant an apple tree, in 20 years or even in 10 years, you're gonna have abundant crops all the time of food that is free, and this is such an important part of our food sovereignty is having that access to wild food You know what you've just said about the food forest, have you been looking...
b in all of Europe s- between:These guys find it hard to go back into the records because they don't wanna show you the records. So all of a sudden, voila, within a 40-year, as if it's some kind of conspiracy, right? The whole planet, somebody's owning what they're saying is wasteland, but then when you're looking at the crops on there, it tells you a massively different story.
Eur- Europe has been colonized for a long time and taken over, right? Yeah. And, we need to replant these, and we can. It's, there's a big movement of the permaculture movement, and the, this permaculture movement is the food forest. It's growing in this agroforestry way, and it's still happening.
hrough agroforestry, so it's [:Y- then you've got the bushes, fruit bushes, and below that you've got your squashes and your courgettes and pumpkins and the stuff, and the herbs all grow on that low level because then nothing's competing for the same area. And we've planted recently in a local school, we've planted a forest garden, and it's amazing watching it and showing the children about the different plants and how we can work with them as well, because I think that's been a big missing part of the puzzle.
as September time, there was [:So I did a whole series of workshops on food for free and apples And it was incredible 'cause some of these parents, these moms were saying, "But it's not wrapped in plastic. Is it safe?" Because we've been so brainwashed and their worry was, "What about the bad bacteria on that's gonna... Is that gonna make me sick?"
As opposed to thinking, "All this plastic is leaching all these chemicals into the fruit. I can go and get one from a tree for free." So we've had this programming that anything in nature is potentially dangerous. And and yes, there is a lot of danger everywhere. If you pick the wrong food, it could poison you.
saying, this disconnection, [:How do I work with these things? How do I actually start to use them? And 10 years ago, I wrote a book, which is being republished next month, called Superfoods And How To Use Them, because I read so many books where it was like, "This is great for this," and you're like, "Yeah, and how do I use that?" And so I put it all together, and this was part of my mushroom book.
It was like we talk about, we read all this stuff, don't we? A reishi mushroom's great for, reducing stress, supporting the heart, im- improving circulation, supporting the adrenals, helping with anxiety. But then it's like how do I work with reishi? And I think that missing piece of education is what is so important that we instill in people now the h- the how.
e can people find them? Now, [:So on my website, Juliettebryant.com. Everything's on there, and I'm on all the social media things. Juliette Bryant or Juliette's Kitchen those are my two things. So yeah, you can find me on all of those. And I think, right now it's kind of end of August coming into September- ... and it's such an amazing time to get out and start to forage and start to make our own medicines and connect with nature, connect with the mushrooms that are gonna be coming up very soon.
For me, my favorite type of mushrooms are the bracket fungus, so the, the hard, woody mushrooms that grow on trees that look like flying saucers. And the reason I love these is because there are no poisonous ones in the UK. So there's thousands of poisonous ground mushrooms, and you really have to be careful what you're doing and cross-reference.
antly to me is phew, I'm not [:And it's very beautiful, the turkey tails. It's got a velvety coating. It's got these lovely cross-sections of color. And what's so interesting is that turkey tails has been used for over 20 years in China and Japan alongside allopathic cancer treatment because of something called PSK, which is a polysaccharide that...
otherapy, and increasing the [:Yes I heard that whenever it was. End of last year, wasn't it? It's almost as if they don't want people to get better, isn't it? It's al- it's almost as if that would be the case, isn't it? And y- and you think to yourself I've got a beautiful place where I collect it, and it's a place near hemlock stone, right?
be careful about that, right?[:And y- and this is how you know that it's nothing to do with health, and there's foxgloves everywhere, which are beautiful, aren't they? But deadly. And all these things. It's nothing to do with health. No. And I think, one of the things- ... that I think with it... Oh, interesting point, turkey tail is still available for purchase for your pets.
So you can still buy turkey tails for your pets. So just so you know that. And interestingly enough with turkey tails is there's no... It's one of the safest mushrooms out there. There's no studies showing it being dangerous in any way, shape, or form. But part of me thinks that this is an empowerment because if you can't go out and buy turkey tails, then you have to learn how to- Yeah
make your own medicine with it. Yeah. Wow, that's amazing because there's nothing stopping us using turkey tails. It's not illegal. Yeah. Not like a class A drug. It's got no... You're not gonna be arrested if you go- Yeah ... out with turkey tails. So you can gather turkey tails and make your own medicine.
And that is so powerful [:But for me, one of the biggest empowerments and the biggest learning on my journey was when my oldest boy, who's now 21, when he was a baby... not a baby, he was two He got an ear infection, and if anyone has had a child with an ear infection or has had one, he was screaming in the night in pain.
And I was like, "Oh my God, what do I do?" So I took him to the doctor's and she said, "Oh, he's got an ear infection," gave him antibiotics. And I was like, "Okay, I'm gonna have to give him antibiotics because I can't have him going through that pain again." So I gave him the antibiotics. A month later, ear infection came back.
, "It's, his ear infection's [:And I was like, "What?" And so she gave me another prescription. I took it and I went home and I was like, "There is no way I'm giving him antibiotics." That was his first antibiotics, and I wasn't happy about giving it to him then. But I thought, "I'm not giving him antibiotics every time he gets a cold.
This is stupid." But because she'd said that, it sparked this reaction in me. And sometimes the absurdity of the outside world is there to create an awakening within us. So we go, "That doesn't make sense," and we do something about it. There's been many situations recently, where this has happened, where people have followed the narrative and then gone, "Hang on.
bout garlic. Chop up garlic, [:I was like, "This is amazing." So then I started to think, it got me questioning what else is there that I could create that would stop me using any of the other stuff that is just- ... programmed into us? So the next thing was balm. Our little one falls over lots, so I was like I don't wanna use Savlon.
I don't like that, so what can I use instead?" So I started researching, and I made a healing balm from calendula and chamomile and lavender and plantain, and made this beautiful healing balm, which I still make to this day, and I still teach everyone how to make it. Because it's one of the most empowering things when you've got medicine you've made.
ushroom is the red and white [:So they would put a tincture onto someone's spine and leave it to soak in, and this would get rid of all the nerve pain in that area. And when applied topically, it's non-psychoactive, so you're not gonna get- Yeah ... any rainbows or visions if you apply it topically. Often when I say that, people are like, "Oh."
rnally, it can be very toxic [:No, you go- yeah, you have to let it really dry, and you have to prepare it properly because there's a d- a changeover, isn't there? Exactly. I, I missed out picking some last year, so I've got a couple of spots. And they're... I missed out because I think there's n- there's only a couple of spots around here, so I need to find some new ones.
But it is a beautiful mushroom, but I'm very cautious about mushrooms. Especially after I went mushroom picking with my friend, and he's He's quite a s- he's quite a sk- skittish person, and he's oh, just like does everything half-assed, right? So he's like picking it up, looked onl- looked online what it was, half read it, ate it, and then ended up in hospital because what he didn't read was it's okay if you cook it, but he just ate it raw.
t one and that one?" Because [:Yeah. And it's a lot easier to do. And turkey tail is so easy, isn't it? Because it- Yeah ... it really looks like a turkey tail. When you see it, you go... You can't really get it confused with anything else. No, there is a false turkey tail mushroom, but that's got very similar properties and isn't going to have any negative impact on you.
Yeah. So it doesn't matter. Yeah. The other ones that are brilliant to go and find are, as I said, these bracket fungus. So birch polypore is another great one. Grows on a birch tree, and it looks like a flying saucer. So first of all, identify a birch tree, and then if you see a flying saucer growing on a birch tree, you know you've found birch polypore.
Those, and those are big, aren't they? And they're very tough. Very dangerous. And I think the skins can be used as strops for... That's one of the ones I, I identified as like there's a lot of these around. Let me find out what they're called. Yeah, so- ... birch polypore, you can use the skin as a plaster.
ulous. And birch polypore is [:and go, "Oh, this is lovely." Break your teeth probably as well. Literally like eating bark. Disgusting. But if you make... So with the bracket fungus, they their medicine is extracted in two ways. First of all, half of the properties approximately come out through heat, through-- So simmering it for 30 t- minutes to two hours will extract half of the properties of the turkey tails, the birch polypore, your chaga- Okay
al extract because this mean [:Ooh. So you've got- This is great knowledge ... all the components of it. So if you're doing this at home, let's say you've got a whole bag of turkey tail mushrooms that you've collected. You've asked permission. You've given thanks for the mushrooms You get home, you put them into a pan, and you simmer them for two hours, keeping topping up the water.
You don't want a lot of water, but you j- you want a little bit of water, but you want it to go quite brown so it's really extracted that medicine. Then what you can do is take those same mushrooms and that water and add that to alcohol. So you need a minimum of 40% alcohol so that you this preserves it properly.
go and have a look for these [:And when it's stuck in the alcohol, it lasts for a long time, right? It does, yeah. The alcohol, that's why you don't want a lot of water content, 'cause the more water content you've got, the less long it will be preserved. But the alcohol, you've got minimum five years really on a tincture, but y- alcohol doesn't really go bad, so you've got, unless it goes moldy, you're fine with it.
Yeah. Yeah. So you've got a long time. So you need to g- read the book for specific instructions, 'cause you don't wanna leave them... The first time I ever made these, I left them in for too long without, straining them off. Okay. Just things like this. They, it'd just make it more potent. As long as it doesn't-
olysaccharide which has been [:So- Yeah ... all of these bracket fungus have these amazing cancer preventative effects on the body, and for me, it's like prevention is better than cure. Let's make our body, really support it to be in the best space it can be. Our digestive system, our mental health, all of these things, and the mushrooms are so key for that.
s- It's very hard, but, when [:It's hard to know when you've improved, and you get used to your level that you're at. But one of the key ways that I found was, do you know when you get a six-digit code come through? Before I'd have to go "2-5, 2-5, 5-7," and go like this, 'cause I couldn't remember the six digits. Now literally after three months of taking lion's mane, I was like, da, slap.
I didn't even have to go, "Do, do..." I didn't have to really remember. And I was like, "Ah, that's what my memory used to be like." And you find the more and more you use m- y- use mushrooms you can't... You get quicker and quicker thinking, and everybody else, to you, seems really slow. How slow they talk-
ore talking. But go into the [:I think, the, the mushrooms are really, I believe, what they're here to do right now, obviously they've been around for all time, but I really believe they're here to upgrade us, to help us in this awakening, to help our brains switch on. Because we're using, what, 5 to 10% of our brain. Yeah. So there's all this capacity in our brain that we're not using, and I really think the mushrooms help you switch on more of it- Yeah
To allow you to access the genius that we are. Human beings are incredible, and we limit ourselves because of the programming, and I think they're here to snap us out of some of that. That's beautifully said. And I, I don't... I've always thought this, you go to certain areas and people slow down.
for Ilkeston," or whatever, [:Something... I, before I was even switched on to everything, I was like, something's going on. They're not naturally born just slower and less able to comprehend things. Something's going on, and it's definitely a poisoning, the quality of food, quality of water, all that sort of thing, and it can be reversed.
Yeah. I think a lot of it comes down to nutritional deficiencies, lack of sunlight, I think that's a really big one that affects us. But I think the quality of the foods and the toxins that are in the soil- ... have a huge, the heavy metals in mining areas. I think that's a huge thing that affects the population.
wing up, my mum had multiple [:So she was taking pharmaceuticals. She was looking at, she changed our diet. She was looking at healing. She was trying to find a way to recover from multiple sclerosis, and she went to a professor, and we all went and saw this professor, and he told her to change everything diet-wise. So we cut out refined sugar.
I was eight. Cut out refined sugar, all animal products whole food diet, reduced gluten. It was ba- basically, we ate fish, a lot of fish, like mackerel and things like that, and just whole foods, lentils, things like that. And as an eight-year-old, I hated it. It was horrible. All my friends were having fish fingers, chips, and beans, and we were having lentil stews and- Yeah
t angry and rejected it all, [:I want to find things that can help bring people with MS into remission so that other children don't have to see what I saw which was really hard. And today, it's funny, isn't it, how people are just placed in your path. Today I had my food hygiene ex- inspection this morning, got my five-star rating, but the guy had MS, and he was, he said, "Oh, I'm really into herbs."
And so we started talking, and I was able to give him some advice. I was at my health club the other day, and I was in the ice bath bit, and this woman, we started talking. She had MS, and we started talking about it, and so I was able to give advice. You see all these people coming into your life, and it's you- we're given trials for a reason because they help us overcome things and give us knowledge so that we can then share that with other people.
And[:for me, my mum didn't know about lion's mane mushroom. Unfortunately, she'd died before I knew about those things, but I've worked with so many people with multiple sclerosis using lion's mane and saffron. Because lion's mane helps to protect the myelin sheath, which is what's degraded in multiple sclerosis, as does saffron.
Wow. There are so many incredible things, and when you're able to support people's bodies to come into remission through nutrition, through detoxifying their body, it's just one of the most incredible things that you can support them in that way. And personally, when COVID happened, my middle son developed severe OCD and anxiety overnight, and it was crippling for him.
tion which didn't make sense [:So he wouldn't eat food that wasn't wrapped in plastic. He became very unwell, wouldn't leave his room. We had to pull him out of school. Really hard for about a year and a half. And because he wouldn't eat anything that wasn't wrapped in plastic, I couldn't get anything into him. Okay. And that was the hardest thing, 'cause I'm like, "I know what I can do for you, but I can't give you anything," 'cause everything had to be sealed, it was intense. And one day he said, "Oh, can I have some ketchup?" And I was like, "Ketchup. I can hide so much in ketchup. Oh, my God." It's like the most exciting thing ever. So I got-- I made my mushroom tincture, this, this one here, the dual extract medicinal mushroom tincture, really strong so that I could put a drop into the ketchup, mix it in, and he'd never know.
hours without sleeping. [:Yeah, exactly. And I'd book things for him. I was like, "Oh, let's go bowling 'cause you love bowling." And he'd be like, "Oh, great." And then it would come to it and he couldn't go- ... because it was too much for him. Anyway, within a week, small signs started happening of, from this mushroom tincture. And then within a month he said, "Can I go back to school?"
And it was like, "What?" His sleep started to creep down, and it got to 2:00 in the morning, 1:00 in the morning. And obviously that's still for an eight, nine-year-old- ... very late, but f- for not someone who wasn't sleeping, that was like- Yeah ... amazing. And just seeing this transformation and now, he's he's doing so well in school.
e this dark cloud descending [:which is incredible. He's so intelligent. But he gets overwhelmed- Yeah ... and the mushrooms just filter through that overwhelm and allow him to function so much better Wow, what an incredible story. So which, which mushrooms is he on for, on this, So reishi, chaga, lion's mane, cordyceps, and the, the one that's not allowed.
Great. Yeah we should go and make ourselves, right? Exactly. Amazing. Absolutely incredible. So this is a big wake-up call for people who perhaps think that these kind of conditions are their personality. "Oh, I've always been like this." You've always been poisoned. You've always been...
ory about being able to just [:He went on this track for 40 years of being in a biker gang and just eating crap food and all that kind of stuff, poisoned himself, and became so sick because of that, he ended up in hospital with a week to live. He didn't die, but he completely chu- changed his lifestyle back again and about age, what's he now?
40 or 50. And he cleaned himself up. And he used mushrooms and things like this like you're talking about. Switched on back to the genius boy that he was before the intervention. So y- you can switch around. The thing is, it's like, until you get better, you don't know how slow you are.
s like, there's a reason for [:You either don't- Love yourself enough or there's something better you want and it's not coming across. So go and have a look at it, right? But you can't tell people that they're a bit slow and- ... you need to wind up, can you? Because that just sounds rude. But I'm always just "Ah, come on people. Wind up."
Also, the opposite's happening at the moment. There are a lot of children coming in who are coming in at a very high frequency. So they- they're all over the place like this. Because what's happening is the Earth's frequency is speeding up, and as the Earth's frequency speeds up, what's happening is children are coming in to anchor that.
Because the Earth is shifting and we're shifting. But as ... But you need those- those people to hold it. You always need those people that are ahead of the game. Yeah. They called people before the Indigo Children, the Cr- ... all these different names. But basically, these children are coming in with so much vitality because they're matching the Earth's frequency.
that we are doing in modern [:This is where the detoxing is really important, but also bringing in the mushrooms that help to stabilize the person. So like the lion's mane, to support that cognitive function, like the reishi and the chaga, which are grounding and anchoring. I- this is might seem a little far out, I don't know the people that are listening to this.
d he'd be like, "I'm on it." [:And I was like, "I don't know about..." I wasn't sure. I... But what was so interesting is as soon as Sean would say, "I'm on it," within a minute my son would calm down. So I was like there is something in this because whatever you're doing- Yeah ... whatever you're clearing is working, and it could have gone on for an hour and a half or five minutes.
There was no rhyme or reason to when that message was picked up. And so what I found was that I thought, "Okay, this is really interesting." When I started giving him the mushroom tincture, no more attachments. This is interesting. So I started to think about this and look into it 'cause I was like why isn't anything happening when it was literally every other day?"
e not had any?" So I started [:And what I've realized is that when we work with the mushrooms, what we're doing is we're anchoring ourselves into the mycelium. So we're grounding ourselves deeply in the earth. Yeah. Okay. And when you are grounded, you cannot be attached to. Yes. Like in the spiritual things the, they're doing all, all these protection things, the most protected we can be is be, by being in the earth.
Yeah. Oh my God, that,
this is so interesting. And, we have- 'Cause our work is about this as well. Through resonance we're anchoring into the Earth's grid, and there's lots of different ways to do it, but in the end, always you have to ground. And I see so many... And I never used to know what that mean, and my understanding of what grounding means just becomes a layer, another layer.
ve got the Earth's resonance [:We mean deep. We're talking about electromagnetic integration into the Earth grid, right? And it seems to me in the kind of spiritual community then, it just makes sense that when people are doing a lot of out-of-body stuff... And I, by the way, think that we don't need to be doing that right now.
re taking themselves out- of [:So years ago when I was ... So I used to do healing from when I was really young. I learnt Reiki at 14. I was always able to see ghosts. I was very s- open when I was a child, and shut it all down. But what I found was that when I was reclaiming it all in my 20s, I was like, "I need to get back into this."
After my mom died, I was like, "It's all bollocks. I hate it all. I couldn't heal my mom, so I'm never doing any healing again." And it really pushed me away for a few years. Yeah. But obviously when something's your calling, it comes back and it keeps like hitting you until you wake up. So when I was 25, I was like, "Actually, I need to start exploring this," and I started training as a crystal healer.
ences all the time. I'd just [:I found it very hard to be in this physical incarnation. And it wasn't till I was 26 and I got pregnant with my son that I was, like, dumped in my body, because you have to be when you're pregnant. It was like, "Ugh, I don't like this." "This is really heavy." And I spent years kind of fighting being grounded, trying to be grounded, there's all the things in the spiritual community, be a tree, okay, I'm a tree and my roots are going into the earth. But I felt so restricted and limited, whereas when I was up in the cosmos, it was like this amazing playground and it was, everything was so open and expansive. And then- I started, it came to me, this network, a white network in the earth, and I didn't know at the time what it was.
ter I found out that was the [:And that for me was like, "Ah, this is being grounded. I like this." That's really interesting. Expanded but grounded. They're not separate things. The more grounded you are, the more connected you are. It's like people think that grounded means, like, going into their body and isolating themselves almost.
"Oh, yeah, I'm just grounding myself in." Exactly. When really it's like- I'm stuck. You're gonna stick in here. And it's also the most boring thing. And I also remember that a f- friend said this is before I knew all of this. "Imagine your feet are on the earth and imagine it's going down, and you've got these roots."
... I d- I don't know, that [:The, the place that I arrived at surely is my ... This is my docking station. Yeah. This is where ... This feels like for me. So my visualization's like, ... And I've not ... The soles of the feet and all that kind of stuff is very good, but I always feel like it's m- wherever this has come from I'm going back to that rather than just contacting somewhere separate or different.
It's interesting because it's like a lot of traditions when you look at them, it's the base chakra, so it's your vagina, or for the man it's that p- perineum area. It's that going down into the earth and that pulling up. And the feet are an anchor point. That's what I was like. Because it's good to anchor and feel where you are.
energy flowing up. And this [:And when we feel like we don't fit into society, when we have that which so many spiritual people, more a- not aware, because everyone's aware on a level, but those people who come in with this other level of consciousness usually are the ones whose base chakras are disconnected very quickly because they don't fit in.
Earth. You've shut off that [:And this is where we can, y- in a lot of traditions and how I work a lot, and if you look at Tai Chi, you look at Qigong, you look at yoga, you look at all these things, it's all about connecting to the Earth, connecting to the cosmos, and these two celestial bodies meeting and expanding from the heart.
And so when you can't connect to the earth, you can't fully connect to the cosmos either. You can't then fully connect into your heart either, because we've disconnected ourselves from the root of life. And so working with that base chakra, and then we try to work with it, and it becomes very distorted with the whole kind of sexual world out there, and dishonoring the temple that is our body and our sexuality, and how this is an amazing force for creation, but for also for enlightenment.
late your nervous system, to [:Laying on the earth also, is a really good way just to- Laying on the earth under some trees as, Exactly ... as foresty as you can. It's amazing. Yeah. And for those of you that kind of don't work with chakras and things like that, 'cause you don't have to. These are physical vessels.
Every single person, whether you're a man or woman, has a belly button, has the remnants of their umbilical cord, and your mother's cells will be within you, and y- you will be within your, your children. Th- there's connection through the physical connection through us all.
the age of two. Yeah. 'Cause [:The very fact that you demand that connection, that means you are unseparating yourself because it's literally, you can, you ca- I can sit here, and I can physic- not... I can energetically shut down from this, this thing. I can still be on the screen. I can still be talking. But when you choose to connect or not is really your choice.
What are you choosing for your biofilm to do? Or are you shrinking back or connecting forward? So at the end of the day, there's brilliant practices out there of all sorts of different kind, but you're the one controlling it just through your choice and dec- decision, right? Totally. We're so powerful, aren't we?
that's in the Earth library, [:is Mother Earth. Totally. I realized this a while ago. I ... In fact, when I was training as a crystal healer I became pregnant halfway through, and I couldn't wear any crystals anymore. I couldn't work with crystals. And I was like, "How am I gonna finish my training when I can't work with crystals?
What is going on?" And I started to realize that actually you don't need to physically work with anything to connect to it because we can call in... You have to have an understanding, you have to have a relationship, and I think this is the important part. It's if I say to you, "Smell rosemary," what does rosemary smell like?
e, you can sit there and go, [:And just by calling it in, rosemary's there with you, the spirit of rosemary. So you don't need to go out and get rosemary. If your throat starts to hurt and you don't have access to rosemary, just imagine that you're rubbing some rosemary essential oil on your throat. My gosh, this is a great trick for people listening to this.
Th- this is actually true. Th- this is, people. And you need to practice it. You need to start with something. And what would we say to the people who say, "Oh, I I can't recall a smell"? I would say you need to detox, everyone has this ability to be able to have full recall. You should be able to hear, smell, taste, touch, experience it.
And if you don't, it's because you're heavy metal s- and your hormones are not working properly in your body, blah, blah, blah. You need to fix yourself. And you'll find- Yeah. So- and I find... i, is it dysphagia? What's the word you use when people don't have a visual, haven't got an internal video?
Yeah, sometimes people can't [:So I've got earth wisdom healing, my cacao training, mushroom training, all these different things. Wow. What I've found with people is that, for example, let's say you can't recall something, you can't visualize anything. And if you, if someone's guiding you on a journey, then what you do is you tell yourself the story, "Okay, now I'm walking down this path.
Okay, now I've reached rosemary. Now I'm smelling rosemary. I can smell rosemary." And you just tell yourself the story, and before you know it, oh, there's the rosemary. And you're training your brain, 'cause our brain can be trained, and it can un- we can undo those blocks, whether it's heavy metal- Yeah
ave shut off their spiritual [:Switch off." Very true And we l- we also don't, almost like in, in some circles, children will be born with these gifts, but their parents are not awake at all, or have been shut down, or have chosen to shut themselves down. And, how do you express that? It was amazing. We were at the Shine, and my youngest is a, a strong-willed Leo, and he's a law unto himself.
xercises, moving through the [:And then he said, "I'm gonna do them to the Earth. You do them with Dad." 'Cause we had to pair up, and he was doing them to the Earth. And that night we're in the tent, and he's very smart and right-brained, not really into any spiritual things, even though he's growing up with me- ... and my husband.
And he said, "Mum, I can see this thing in my hand. What's going on?" And so we had this, that night, this incredible conversation about energy, 'cause he could see it in his hands. Wow, that's lovely. And so he'd create an energy ball, and we had... And now every night he's like, "Mum, shall we make an energy ball together?"
And he's starting to tune in. And a lot of parents could be, "Oh, don't be stupid. That's just the light and the way it is." But obviously I'm not about to say that. So he's now opening up, and he's now since then been talking about, "Oh, I can see a different color in the trees that's not normally there," and, "Oh, I can see a color around you."
explaining, "These are your [:But I brought still, I bought a couple of things from you, if you remember. The scoops so with all, all the superfoods mixin'. So I haven't started that yet, 'cause I'm waiting for a time to start it. So pro- now that I've had this talk- ... I'll try and do it this week. Let's start it today- That's it
